Henn Na Hotel Premier Nara

3-star automated hotel in central Nara with dinosaur concierge

Technology & Convenience

At Henn na Hotel Premier Nara, check-in is handled by a holographic dinosaur and a samurai projection instead of a human receptionist. The hotel offers automated luggage storage through secure lockers, allowing guests to drop bags before check-in or after checkout without waiting. A 24-hour front desk is available by phone, with staff appearing promptly when called from the machine.

Rooms

Rooms at Henn na Hotel Premier Nara include a private bathroom with a deep bathtub, a separate toilet with a bidet, and a sink that swivels to become a drinking fountain. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with a desk, a safety deposit box, and USB charging ports on both sides of the bed. Premium bedding and blackout light controls from the bedside let guests adjust the environment without getting up.

Location & Access

Henn na Hotel Premier Nara is a 2-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Nara Station, placing it between two major rail hubs. The hotel is a 5-to-7-minute walk from Nara Park, Nara National Museum, and the shopping streets near Higashimuki. Direct limousine buses from Osaka Itami Airport stop at JR Nara Station, 10 minutes on foot from the hotel.

Dining & Breakfast

A Full English/Irish breakfast is served each morning at the on-site coffee shop in the hotel lobby, with menu items such as French toast, bacon, salad, and rice. The coffee shop also operates during the day as a café, offering fancy drinks and light meals for hotel guests and walk-ins. An on-site restaurant provides additional dining options without leaving the building.

Amenities for Families & Convenience

The hotel provides coin-operated washer-dryers for guest use, with the washing machine status shown on the in-room TV so guests can time their loads. A free manga library near the elevators lets families borrow comics to read in their room, and vending machines on each floor sell bottled water at 100 JPY. Luggage storage lockers and a designated smoking area are also located on the ground floor.
